Theft at Webster cigar store

The Webster Police Department reported that it responded to incidents of burglary and criminal mischief at the 17000 block of Sh 3 Highway, which occurred on Nov. 6, sometime between 8 p.m. and 10:24 p.m.

Officer S. Thomas reported that officers responded to a burglary alarm that went off at a cigar store and were told by the owner of The Smoke Ring that an unknown suspect busted out the front door to the business, took property and damaged property.

The report listed the items stolen as a 63-inch television, valued at $3,000 and a blu-ray player, valued at $400. Damage to a broken glass door was estimated at $1,000.
