League City man charged with possession of child porn

Friendswood Police reported that a League City man was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of child pornography on Nov. 4 at approximately 10:44 a.m.

According to Friendswood Police, 21-year-old Stephen Ray Moshtagh was arrested as the result of a cooperative investigation including investigators from Friendswood, Pearland, League City and the Houston Metro Internet Crimes against Children Task Force.

Police reported that the investigation began in early October and that officers were able to determine that a computer used by Moshtagh at an address in the 2600 block of White Ibis Court was being used to download images of child pornography.   

Police further reported that officers served a search warrant at Moshtagh's home in the Brittany Lakes subdivision, and his computer contained numerous pornographic videos and pictures of children.  

Moshtagh is being held on $40,000 bond on each charge pending transfer to the Galveston County Jail.
