El Lago Halloween Carnival: [Update: Canceled]
San Jac Fall Fest: 6 to 8:30 p.m. at San Jacinto College South's student center. Actitivies will include a petting zoo, costume contest, festival games and food, and an appearance by Toro, the Texans mascot.
Hamlet: Clear Creek High School presents one of Shakespeare's best-loved tales of madness and murder at 7 p.m.
SATURDAY, OCT. 31
Wings Over Houston Airshow: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Ellington Airport. See the Blue Angels, a Pearl Harbor reeanactment and lots of cool airplanes.
Webster Halloween Carnival: 6 to 9 p.m. at Texas Avenue Park. Bring a canned food item to benefit Bay Area Turning Point. There will be a haunted house and a fun house, inflatables and games, everything required of Halloween night.
Clear Lake City Community Association Fall Festival: 2 to 6 p.m. at Clear Lake Rec Center. Costume contest, moonwalk, face painting, pumpkin patch and more.
Fall Festival at University Baptist Church: 4 to 7 p.m. You'll find a parking lot full of inflatables, carnival games, a rock-climbing wall, Velcro wall, slides and food stands. Activities planned for toddlers and teens alike.
Seabrook Methodist Trunk or Treat: 4 to 7 p.m. in parking lot of Seabrook United Methodist Church. In addition to fall festival fun, one hour before dark, kids can trick or treat from trunk to trunk.
League City Elementary Fall Carnival: Noon until 4 p.m.
Get an early start on your Christmas shopping at the St. Paul's Arts and Crafts Show. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Paul's the Apostle Catholic Church in Nassau Bay.
Hamlet: Clear Creek High School presents Shakespeare in a benefit performance for the family of a teacher in need at 2 p.m.
SUNDAY, NOV. 1
Howl-o-ween Parade at League City Animal Shelter: 1 to 5 p.m. Dress up your dog, enter him in a costume contest, walk him in the parade. If he's not microchipped, you can do that to him, too.
