Traffic stop leads to drug charges
The Friendswood Police Department charged a man with possession of marijuana on Monday, Oct. 25.
Officers pulled over Damien Desvignes, 29, of Houston, for a traffic violation in the 400 block of West Edgewood.
Desvignes admitted to having marijuana in his vehicle. At the time, he also had an outstanding warrant for a child support violation through Harris County. He was subsequently arrested and charged.
