Alcohol Awareness Class for young offenders offered in League City
Alcohol Awareness Associates will offer monthly state approved alcohol awareness classes for minors charged with alcohol-related offenses in League City.
This program implements Texas legislation, mandating the courts to require young alcohol offenders to complete a state approved alcohol awareness program, according to the press release.
Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services, this six-hour program is held on two consecutive days. Participants are required to attend both sessions.
The League City class will be held on Monday and Tuesday, Nov.r 8 and 9 from 6 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. each evening, at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center located at 400 W. Walker.
