Traffic stop leads to marijuana possession charge

The Friendswood Police Department responded to an incident of alleged possession of marijuana at the 400 block of North Sunset Drive on Oct. 27 at 12:14 a.m.  

Officer F.W. Cramer reported that he observed a tan Toyota Camry speeding and during a traffic stop, arrested and charged the passenger with possession of marijuana.

The suspect, 21-year-old Keri Lynn Barnell of Pearland, is a server at Star Cinema Grill. The incident report states she was found with .03 ounces of marijuana.

Officer A. Whitaker assisted in the arrest.
