KFC/Taco Bell cited with unsafe food surfaces
A Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell was issued violations due to unsafe food surfaces in a Sept. 8 inspection.
The restaurant, located at 2018 Bayport Blvd., in Seabrook, was issued the violations by Harris County inspectors due to their association with the spread of food-borne illnesses. Inspectors have seen similar problems at this location twice in the past year.
The restaurant was issued three demerits on a scale from 0 to 100. The total number of violations was not high enough to warrant further action or a return visit by inspectors.
