Pearland 35 Clear Creek 28 in district football
Dustin Garrison had four rushing touchdowns including a pair of 40-yard scores while quarterback Trey Anderson finished with 203 combined
yards of offense and one rushing touchdown helping the Pearland Oilers (7-0) defeat the Clear Creek Wildcats (5-2) 35-28 Friday night at The Rig.
TheĀ Oilers Garrison finished with 200 rushing yards while Myles Kanipes and Vincent Ortiz combined for 117 receiving yards for Pearland.
The Oilers had 429 yards of total offense while Clear Creek had 421 total yards of offense. Both teams had 23 first downs while Clear Creek had
40 more penalty yards than the Oilers. Wildcats quarterback Chris Collins finished with 247 combined yards of offens and also threw a touchdown
pass to Colby Davis. Clear Creek's star running back C.J. McElroy finished with 126 combined yards and also had a rushing touchdown. The
Wildcats Trevin Jones had 57 receiving yards and also rushed for a score.
