Mely's Mexican Cuisine cited with health violation

Mely's Mexican Cuisine in Seabrook received a health violation during its last inspection on Sept. 23, by the Houston Department of Health and Human Services.

The restaurant is located at 3659  Nasa Parkway, Suite A.

 

According to the HDHHS, the restaurant had unsafe food handling practices, which could be associated with the spread of foodborne illnesses.

 

Inspectors have also cited the restaurant with violating safe food surface rules several times over the past year.

 

The restaurant received 10 demerits on a 0 to 100 scale, and its total number of violations was never high enough to warrant further action or a return visit by inspectors.

 

Mely's offers Mexican food for lunch and dinner.
