Driver and passenger arrested in traffic stop
A routine traffic stop led to Friendswood Police arresting the driver and the passenger.
On Wednesday at 1:11 a.m., a Friendswood police officer stopped a tan Ford Escort for failure to signal a lane change and failure to maintain a single marked lane of traffic in the 500 block of E. Edgewood St. in Friendswood.
The driver was arrested and charged with driving with an invalid license while the passenger was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of dangerous drugs.
