League City PD responds to car burglary

The League Police Department responded to an alleged burglary of a car stereo from a parked car on the 2000 block of W. Main St., on Oct. 11, sometime between 1 p.m. and 4:50 p.m.

Officer R.J. Reynolds reported that the car stereo was stolen from a 2003 green Chevy Tahoe with no signs of forced entry. The vehicle was parked in a parking lot located behind an office building.

 

The victim, 51-year-old Peggy Ann Ranew, valued the damage and lost merchandise at $500.
