Clear Lake's Biscoe scores first career goal
Clear Lake High School graduate Kelsey Biscoe scored her first career goal and helped lead East Texas Baptist’s soccer team to a 2-0 victory over rival LeTourneau last Thursday in Longview.
Biscoe’s goal, scored in the first half, was all East Texas Baptist needed thanks to goalkeeper Cristine Aquino’s third shutout in five conference games. East Texas Baptist improved to 3-4-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the American Southwest Conference.
A 2010 graduate of Clear Lake HS, Biscoe was the winner of the team’s Spirit Award as a senior and was Most Valuable Player of the junior varsity team in 2007, 2008 and 2009. She is a midfielder and defender for East Texas Baptist.
The Tigers will host Concordia Texas on Friday.
