McNary leads Army defense in win over Duke
Houston native and Clear Lake grad Josh McNary had six tackles helping Army defeat Duke University 35-21 Saturday.
McNary went into the game tied with Texas Tech's Brian Duncan to lead the nation in sacks with five on the season.
McNary is the son of George and Cecilia McNary of Clear Lake.
McNary holds Army's quarterback sacks records in a game at four, in a season with 12.5, and for his career with 18. He established all three marks last season. He was selected to three All-America teams last fall.
A Clear Lake HS defensive lineman, McNary led the team in sacks.
Army takes on Temple this Saturday at home in West Point, New York. Kickoff begins at 12:00 p.m.
