Space Center Rotary donates $18,000 to Bayside Lab

The Space Center Rotary has donated $18,000 to the Clear Creek Education Foundation to help fund the Bayside Intermediate Career Exploration Technology Lab. 

The move marks the largest single donation the Space Center Rotary has made to another organization. 

The lab assists students with synergistic computer modules that provide virtual reality experiences in math, science, technology and engineering careers.

Space Center Rotary David Coney presented the check at a ceremony. 

On hand to accept the check on behalf of Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) and the education foundation were Bayside Intermediate Principal Jamey Majewski, Clear Creek Education Foundation Chair Lisa Holbrook and CCISD Superintendent Dr. Greg Smith.
