Chilli's, Star Spirit top Clear Lake liquor tax payers for June

Chilli's Grill & Bar was Clear Lake's top liquor tax payer for the month of June, according to Texas mixed beverage tax receipts. 

The restaurant, located at 225 FM 2094, handed over $3,794.14 in liquor taxes for the month.  With a tax rate of 14 percent, this represents a gross receipt amount of $27,101 in liquor sales. 

Coming in second for the month was the Star Spirit Entertainment Yacht. The company paid $2,773.82 on a total of $19,813 of liquor receipts. 

The Star Spirit is a 100-guest, 74' party boat used for corporate events, weddings and celebrations on Clear Lake.
