24-5A lead on line for Clear Creek

At the very least, a share of the 24-5A lead is on the line when Clear Creek (2-2, 1-0) plays at Ball (2-2, 1-0) at 7 p.m. on Friday at Courville Stadium, and the winner could be all alone in first place.
Nobody predicted that prior to district, but Ball's upset of Clear Lake and Clear Creek's 42-35 win over Clear Brook last week set it up.
If Clear Brook beats Dickinson, and Clear Lake downs Clear Springs this week, the Ball-Clear Creek winner will be the district's only undefeated team and in sole possession of the top spot.
