Food Network to feature T-Bone Tom's
Nearly a year to the day after T-Bone Tom's reopened from Hurricane Ike, the Kemah restaurant makes a television appearance on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
The Food Network features the steakhouse as part of its Burger, Steaks and Chops episode, and even if you've already got plans that will keep you away from the TV, you might be interested in this: Barry Terrell, owner of T-Bone Tom's, shares his recipe for steak marinade on the show's Web site. Click here for the recipe, which combines Worcestershire and soy sauce with pineapple juice.
Show host Guy Fieri and the television show's producers visited Kemah in June to sample a ribeye dinner, sausage and armadillo eggs.
According to Food Network's Web site, the episode is set to air:
Monday, Nov. 23, at 9 p.m. and midnight
Friday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m.
The Nov. 23 air date is one day short of the one-year anniversary of the restaurant's reopening after being flooded by more than 5 feet of water during Hurricane Ike.
