How's that fall garden coming along?
Here's your chance to pick up plants for your fall gardening and corner an expert with your questions.
This weekend the Harris County Master Gardeners are holding their Fall Plant Sale & HerbaPalooza featuring perennials, fall vegetables and herbs. It's happening from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Pavilion at Clear Lake Park, 5001 NASA Parkway.
Saturday's lineup:
8 a.m. Get a sneak peek at the plants for sale. No buying.
9 a.m. It's OK now to start loading up your wagon with plants.
10 a.m. Learn about fall vegetable gardening.
11 a.m. Learn about herbs with Master Gardener Ginia Keen-Mattern.
There will be a booth where Master Gardeners can answer your questions as well as diplays with information on rainwater harvesting, composting and low-volume irrigation.
