Bay Creek Drive roadwork begins [updated]
Road construction that will close a stretch of Bay Creek Drive in League City for 30 days finally got under way today.
The Galveston County project's start had previously been delayed twice by rain, once this week and once last week.
The road will be closed between FM 646 and Colony Creek (just east of FM 646) so that FM 646 can be widened from three to four lanes with curbs and gutters.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured to Misty Bay Drive.
