Man walking his dog clipped by pickup

A Clear Lake City woman was jailed this morning after police said she hit a man walking his dog in Friendswood's Whitehall subdivision.
Friendswood police say Morgan Malley, 20, faces charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to stop and render aid in an accident involving injury.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. in the 200 block of Chelsea Lane. Friendwood police gave the following account:
According to the victim, Malley made a wide left turn from Camelot onto Chelsea and struck him with the mirror of her pickup while he and a friend were walking his dog.
She fled, but police located her black Ford truck on FM 2351 at Blackhawk.
Police said that the victim had visible injuries to his arm but refused medical treatment.
Malley failed a field sobriety test and registered 0.08 on a breath test.
She is being held pending transfer to the Galveston County Jail on a $10,000 bond for the felony injury charge and $1,000 bond for the class B misdemeanor DWI charge.
