Clean up area beaches, coastlines
Volunteers are being recruited to help clean up beaches on Sept. 26.
The Adopt-a-Beach event will be from 9 a.m. to noon. Beaches will be cleaned along 200 miles of coastline and bayous, including locations in Harris, Galveston and Brazoria counties.
