Former museum curator offers free help

The former curator of League City's Butler Longhorn Museum has offered to conduct a free inventory of the museum.
Jennifer Wycoff, who resigned just three days after the museum opened in April, made the offer Wednesday in an e-mail to city officials, Mayor Toni Randall said.
The museum, located at 1220 Coryell, has been closed since Wycoff's resignation.
Wycoff has been accused of shredding documents in her personnel file, which she denies.
Randall said she plans to request an agenda item for City Council's Sept. 22 meeting that would propose having Wycoff do the museum's inventory.
In the meantime, City Council on Tuesday night directed city staff to start conducting inventory of the museum, she said.
I say let her come in and finish it," Randall said of Wycoff. She's offering her services at no charge. It beats us having to pay somebody if she's willing to come in and do it for free."
