Stefano Bertolotti: Friendswood police photoA Clear Lake restaurateur was arrested Wednesday, accused by a former employee of exposing himself to her for years.
Stefano Bertolotti, 61, of Friendswood is charged with six counts of indecent exposure, a class B misdemeanor.
Friendswood police said the incidents occurred at Babba Bruno restaurant at 400 W. Parkwood in Friendswood and Bada Bing Pizza, 2925 Gulf Freeway in League City. The Italian restaurant in Friendswood has since closed, and Bertolotti was arrested at his League City business.
Police said the former employee contacted them in late January to report unwanted sexual contact by Bertolotti.
Police said the 34-year old victim told them the incidents had been occurring for several years, and she spoke of incidents in 2009 and 2010 in which she said Bertolotti exposed his genitals to her and forced her to touch him.
According to the victim, despite telling Bertolotti that the sexual advances were not welcome, he continued to put her in situations where they occurred, police said.
Bertolotti is held on $6500 bond, pending transfer to the Galveston County Jail.
