Cline kids to grow 'mega cabbages'

published Apr. 26, 2011

Cline Elementary School third-graders were presented with a "mega cabbage" plant to take home and grow in a garden.

The cabbages were donated by Bonnie Plants, which has a mission to promote the love of vegetable gardening in children nationwide. The company encourages the students to care for their plant and enter the Bonnie Plants Mega Cabbage contest.

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one winner in each state.
