Meet Shelter Pets of the Week, Cashmere and Trey

published Feb. 28, 2011

Trey and Cashmere are the Shelter Pets of the Week at the Friendswood Animal Control Department.

Trey is a 2-year-old Rottweiler-Shepherd mix and weighs about 80 pounds. Animal Control found this friendly guy last week wandering in Friendswood. He's a tripod, but he gets around just fine on three legs. Trey is a sweet, people-loving dog who loves to run around with the shelter volunteers. He's up-to-date on shots, and his identification number is 9347.

Cashmere is a female calico mix with a super-soft coat and an adorable pink nose. She's a lover, not a fighter! Cashmere enjoys visitors. Her identification number is 9361.

To learn more about how to adopt Trey, Cashmere or other pets, call Friendswood Animal Control at 281-996-3300 or stop by the shelter at 1322 Deepwood Drive, next to the Public Works building. Find more information here: www.ci.friendswood.tx.us/cof/publicsafety/animal/default.htm.
