With cutbacks expected in the NASA space program, Workforce Solutions is preparing to reinstate a permanent office in the Clear Lake area. The nonprofit organization doesn't charge for its services.

Believe it or not, Dr. Shannon Walker is the first astronaut to be born, raised and educated right here. She's worked at Johnson Space Center for over 20 years, and she's finally headed to the international space station. Watch KHOU's video report.
