Friendswood school bus hits stopped car

Friendswood postpones picking company for school bus ads

The school board was expected to approve a deal for the advertisements with Alpha Media on Tuesday, but is now also considering a company called Steep Creek Media that would provide more money. It will consider choosing between the two at its Jan. 12 meeting.

Clear Creek and Friendswood students didn't get a snow day, but the worsening weather canceled after-school activities and disrupted some Saturday plans as well. The SAT at Clear Springs High School has been canceled, but playoff games are still on.
