Shawn Blackwell pitched four innings, striking out three and allowing two earned runs Saturday in the AZL Rangers's 5-2 loss to the AZL Cubs. Blackwell graduated from Clear Creek High School.

Blackwell is a 2009 graduate of Clear Creek High School and a 24th-round selection (724th overall) of the Texas Rangers in the 2009 Major League Baseball draft. Blackwell began his professional career in 2010 starting 13 games for the Rangers' rookie team of the Arizona Rangers. He went 6-3 with a 4.10 ERA in 59.1 innings. The League City Police Department arrested 22-year-old Margarito Aleman on charges of a capias warrant for expired or no registration, a capias warrant for expired or no motor vehicle inspection documents, a warrant for failure to appear, a warrant for unspecified charges and a warrant for hcc pct 8. Aleman was born on September 14, 1988.

Webster Police Department arrests, July 3

The following arrests were made by the Webster Police Department on July 3.

Mosley Roland, 24, was arrested in Webster on charges of assault by contact. Roland was born on November 22, 1986.

The Webster Police Department arrested 22-year-old Crystal Mosley on charges of public intoxication. Mosley was born on July 1, 1989.

The Webster Police Department arrested 27-year-old Monique Victoria on charges of a warrant for expired registration, a warrant for driving while license is invalid and a warrant for failing to use a seat belt (a child under 5 years of age). Victoria was born on June 15, 1984.

Avila Kimberly King, 39, was arrested on charges of reckless driving. The incident occurred near 1200 Grand Avenue, Bacliff, Texas.

Joshua Dale Goldman, 22, was arrested on charges of failed to yield right of way. The incident occurred near Highway 146, Kemah, Texas.

Michael Roy Flanigan, 32, was arrested on charges of assault. The incident occurred near 1 Bradford Avenue, Kemah, Texas.

A citation or summons was issued to Christopher Kent Moen, 22, for allegedly no seat belt - driver near 1100 Grand Avenue, Bacliff, Texas.

A citation or summons was issued to Roland Iii Deyon, 37, for allegedly assault near 5006 Chasewood Ct, Bacliff, Texas.

A citation or summons was issued to Marcelino Guadarrama Garcia, 27, for allegedly drove center lane-not pass or left turn near 1100 Grand Avenue, Bacliff, Texas.

An incident involving assault was reported at 5006 Chasewood Ct, Bacliff, Texas.

Mundie Moore arrested on charge of assault of a family member

A Seabrook woman was arrested and charged with assault of a family member on July 3, 2011, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. Mundie Moore, 41 years old, was booked at the Harris County Jail on July 3, 2011 and is facing a misdemeanor charge. She resides at 2625 Lakeway. Read more...
