    Clear Springs tops Memorial, 41-35

    Clear Springs rode its way into the regional finals Saturday night with a 41-35 victory over Memorial. Clear Springs had big nights from quarterback Phillip Miller and receiver Deche Millburn, who combined for three touchdowns. Above, Clear Springs' Deche Milburn tries to fend off Memorial's William Pipkin. The Chargers take on Katy at 1 p.m. Saturday at Tully Stadium.

    Friendswood gets a new playoff opponent

    Wheatley High School has been disqualified from the playoffs for using an ineligible player last week, so Friendswood will be playing the Waltrip Rams. The game will still take place on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. at Galena Park ISD Stadium.

    Clear Lake ends Clear Creek's season

    Clear Lake finished its regular season on a high note, beating Clear Creek 28-20. The loss killed Clear Creek's chances of making the playoffs, which Clear Lake will also sit out. Above, Clear Lake's Garrett Jones crosses the goal line for a touchdown.

    Clear Springs beat Clear Lake 35-13 Friday night to improve to 2-0 in district play and 4-1 overall.
