    $13,000 wedding ring reported stolen

League City police are investigating the theft of a $13,000 wedding ring from South Shore Harbour Resort & Conference Center.

The platinum diamond solitaire ring was stolen from the resort and conference center, 2500 South Shore Boulevard between 9 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Sunday, League City Police Sgt. John Jordan said.

A woman told police she and her husband returned to their room about 11:15 p.m. Saturday and she placed her jewelry on a counter just outside the bathroom.

The couple went downstairs to eat breakfast about 9 a.m. Sunday and returned to find that the woman’s ring was missing, Jordan said. It did not appear the room had been cleaned.

Police have no suspects, but plan to interview the resort and conference center’s staff, Jordan said. Those with information are asked to call 281-338-8210.

13000 $ is heavy amount. Blaming on Hotel security system could not work any more. I think there is involvement of members who are close to owner. Any how, it is duty of police to solve the matter.
