Vandals take aim at South Shore Harbour

Vandals hit South Shore Harbour over the weekend, slashing tires, breaking a window and leaving profanities behind.

League City Police Lt. Bruce Whitten said a Chevrolet Suburban parked at a house in the 4400 block of Masters Drive had two tires punctured and cuss words scratched into its paint between Saturday at 9:30 p.m. and Sunday at 7:30 a.m., causing $600 in damage.

The tires of a Ford-150 pickup truck, Toyota Sequoia and Chevrolet Silverado were vandalized at a house in the 4400 block of Pebble Beach Drive around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, causing $800 worth of damage.

Close to the same time, someone threw a rock through a window at a house on the same block.

Earlier in the night, a security officer for South Shore Harbour saw a person scale the master-planned community’s security fence.

All three incidents appear to be related but are not believed to be connected to a recent outbreak of windows being broken out in League City and other area cities, Whitten said.

Police do not have any leads, and anyone with information is asked to call 281-338-4182 or 281-338-8210.
