Oakbrook West's pool falls to budget cuts

The Clear Lake City Community Association has decided not to open Oakbrook West's neighborhood pool this summer to save money.

The Bay Area Citizen's Mary Ann Hellinghausen reports that the community association's board is also taking a hard look at Meadowgreen's pool.

    According to the newspaper:

General Manager Leslie Alvarez said she is looking at a $100,000 budget deficit this year if cuts aren’t made, and the lifeguard payroll is one of the association’s largest expenses.
