Christopher Metheny: Friendswood police photoFriendwood police say they arrested a Pearland man after pulling him over for a traffic stop and finding several small bags of methamphetamine powder, scales and a price list in his van.
Christopher Metheny, 43, of Pearland was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a third degree felony.
Police say they pulled Metheny's van over around 9:37 p.m. Tuesday after noticing him having trouble staying in a single lane in the 400 block of East Edgewood.
Police say the officer thought Metheny was acting suspiciously, and after the suspect gave officers permission to search his van, they found a drug pipe and took him into custody.
While searching his van further, police say they found 6.8 grams of meth powder and the rest of the evidence.
Metheny is awaiting transfer to the Galveston County jail on a $40,000 bond.

He doesn't look much like a drug dealer, he looks more like a drug addict. Instead of imprisoning him they should take him to some California drug rehab programs S. Lake Tahoe and cure his addiction, considering the amount of drugs he had in the care he could have been intending to use them for himself. I guess the scales and the price list found in his van proves he was a drug dealer indeed, a but he was small one though...
