Car shopper accused of exposing himself

A 20-year-old man has been accused of exposing himself to a League City woman who was showing him a car for sale in her driveway.

League City Police Sgt. John Jordan said that when the woman came home from work last week, she found a note under the windshield of her son’s vehicle, which was parked in her driveway in the 2000 block of Savanna Court North. In the note, a man asked if the vehicle was for sale and provided his telephone number.

She called him and when he returned to look over the vehicle, he offered his business card. She told police that when she went to take it, he exposed himself to her, so she grabbed the card and ran inside to call police.

Police tracked him down using the phone number on the card, but he told police that he didn’t mean to expose himself to the woman.

“He said the incident was a complete mistake and that he didn’t realize that his zipper was down,” Jordan said.

    Police are investigating.
