Several yearbook staffs in the Clear Creek Independent School District have earned special honors for their work.

The 2009-2010 Clear Creek High School yearbook staff recently earned a special honor for cover design. Creek students created and designed the custom cover last year. Jostens chose the Den cover for superior workmanship in their 2011 Covers Book. This book is sent to over 16,000 advisors around the country. Creek's cover is on the first page of the magazine. The cover is currently displayed in the D-100 trophy case at the school.

The Clear Brook High School 2009 yearbook staff was recognized by Taylor Publishing with an Award of Excellence honoring its accomplishments in yearbook design and coverage. The Brook yearbook is featured in the 2010 YearbookYearbook. Judges selected their work as some of the best in the country. Taylor Publishing proudly honors only the best of the best.

The Victory Lakes Intermediate yearbook staff was also recognized by Taylor Publishing with an Award of Excellence honoring its accomplishments in yearbook design and coverage. Judges selected this yearbook among the best for 2009. “Being selected for YearbookYearbook is like being handed an Oscar, an acknowledgement of superior quality,” said Taylor Education Specialist Judi Coolidge. “But more important, the work will be admired by thousands of student journalists who use YearbookYearbook as an inspiration to ignite their creative process.”
