The Star Toyota dealership at 2112 Gulf Freeway in League City already has some of the parts in stock to make brake and gas pedal repairs and so far doesn't have a long waiting list, says Carolyn Hibbard, the dealership’s comptroller.
“There’s no stampede here,” Hibbard said. “It’s all running very smoothly.”
The dealership's service department is sticking to its usual hours of 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday until demand warrants longer hours, she said.
But it's not a good idea to show up without an appointment at 888-462-0549.
“Otherwise, you don’t know who’s going to show up and how fast you’re going to go through what part,” Hibbard said. “They’re going to waste their time if they don’t call ahead.”
