On Thursday afternoon, 1/14, at approximately 4 PM, an intermediate student was approached by a man in a small, light blue SUV near her home in the Pines of Wilderness Trails. The young girl was standing in her yard near the sidewalk when the man stopped his car and offered her money to get into the car with him. The young girl ran into her house and upon closing her door noticed the man taking her picture. The man is described as middle aged, heavy set with salt and pepper hair and a gray and black beard. The Friendswood Police Department was notified. The safety of our students is a major concern and FISD is sharing this information in an effort to keep you informed. Please remind your children of safety measures.
