A checkup for kids and their teddy bears

Is your child afraid of the doctor? Sign him for a checkup at a free Teddy Bear Clinc.

He can bring in a favorite teddy bear, doll or other stuffed animal for an examination, and the clinic will also check your child’s height, weight and body mass index so that his next doctor's visit won't seem so scary.

Free teddy bears will be given to the first 250 participants. There will also be healthy snacks, face painting, balloon art and photos.

    When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14.

    Where: Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, 17488 Highway 3, Webster.

    Make an appointment: 713-442-5455.
