    Space Center Houston reaches out

Participating Clear Creek district schools will include Space Center, Seabrook, Clear Lake and Victory Lakes intermediate schools, but the Exploration Academy is also open to private and home-school students.

    Redfish Raft Up to benefit bay foundation

    Boaters are invited to the sixth annual Redfish Raft Up on Sunday, Sept. 5, to benefit the The Galveston Bay Foundation. The Labor Day weekend event at Redfish Island will include entertainment from Clear Lake-area musician Kelly McGuire.

    High number of home schoolers prompts audit

    Sex offender accused of indecency at pool

    Police arrested a registered sex offender Wednesday after two Friendswood children reported an incident at their neighborhood pool. Michael Page Summers of Brazoria County is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.
